Was In the Hospital

Hi Everyone,

I went into the hospital Friday night because I wasn’t doing good mentally and emotionally.  I was released yesterday and now I’m doing better.  I couldn’t follow the WW flex plan while in the hospital because it was a locked unit and they are very picky on letting you have certain stuff.  I couldn’t bring my WW materials with me because I didn’t have a chance to pack.   I was put on a new medication and they increased the dose of one of my medications and decreased the dose of another of my medications.  I know this is a weight loss blog but I wanted to let you all know where I was in case you were wondering where I was.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Maggie

Hi Maggie. I was touched reading your various entries, because it seems to me that deep down you don’t really believe you can do successfully shed the weight….any chance this is right? Here’s a tip I learned when I was getting rid of my excess 130 lbs….begin today to start seeing yourself as successful. Find a picture of yourself at a lower weight (or make one using photoshop) and then get copies. Put these “thin” pictures of yourself everywhere…on the mirror, on your computer screen, on your fridge etc. And then look at these pictures multiple times per day. What you want to do is train your brain to recognize you at a slim weight, not at your current weight. How your brain thinks of and sees you is how it is going to direct you to be. Right now your brain is stuck at your current weight. Reprogram it and just watch how easy reducing and maintaining your weight becomes. I know this first hand as I used to wear a size 26 and now wear a 12 and have done so for many years, no problem. If you want to see before and after pictures of me you’ll find them at www.WhyAreYouWeighting.com Good luck, you can do this!
